There are so many incredible photographs inside. I'm not positive I would have chosen this one for the cover, but it is joyous.

It is. Many of the photographs already were, or have become, famous, so you will probably recognise at least some of them.

The exhibition and the book, which is its catalogue has an interesting history.

This was a neat little challenge!

I almost thought this was an anthropology textbook, but no. Though I wouldn't be surprised if any of the photos made it in to textbooks.

It was fun and I happened to see it for the first time on a weekend when I had the time to indulge. It's like getting a chance to have a browse through a friend's bookshelves.

The photos in "The Family of Man" have shown up in all sorts of places, so I think it's a safe bet that they've been included in some textbooks. I always have a moment of recognition when I see one of the pictures, even though sometimes I don't remember from where I know it at first.
