I am so thrilled! (Like Lestrade, we could all use a bit of indulgence.:-D)

This was a definite departure for me, but the idea of their relationship has been sitting around in a corner of my brain waiting for a turn since I put that scene in Carbonado nearly a year ago. There was that line in THoB where Lestrade says that he doesn't do everything Mycroft asks him to do that seemed a pretty clear indication that there was a relationship that needed exploring. ;-)

I've signed up for the Halloween spook_me fest for either Sherlock or Poe, and that conversation between Mycroft and Lestrade about the ghosts is tugging at my brain a little more each day. We'll see what the autumn winds bring.
