There is a first time for everything.

[livejournal.com profile] azdak and [livejournal.com profile] elmey have gone before and so I follow, with a video as well.

When you see this on your flist, quote some Shakespeare on your LJ:

Thus play I, in one person, many people,
And none contented...

I loved Ben in that role. He was (and is) absolutely spectacular.

I had to watch it in small segments because it was so depressing! Beautiful and depressing and inspiring.

Oh, this is your Q, yes? That's a fantastic rendering of that speech. I'm impressed!

Oh, this is good! Though I was sure you'd choose The Tempest :)

I am in the midst of fannishness about his roles. He got a BAFTA for that one. The icon is from a film called, "Bright Star", about Keats' life. I thought his acting in that also wonderful.

It's funny that I didn't think of that until after I posted this. He was great in it and it was far less depressing.

Did you catch it last autumn? Grim plot aside, it was so beautifully acted and filmed and the settings and costumes were sumptuous. (Well, not in that scene, but generally.)
