I'm glad you didn't take my comments while wearing the Reality!Hat as condemnation. It's a thorny issue. On the one hand, I understand that some couples would be fine with this type of assumed consent, but in RL, it has been used to justify horrific behavior.
You might want to consider either a dub con trigger warning, or maybe just a brief note in the first and this chapter to be on the safe side. You never know what experiences readers have had.
I've not had bone-marrow testing done, but I have heard it can be unpleasant.
I think I can guess which test was left out of the report! :D
